Liz Ball is the author/illustrator of the popular Hidden Treasures hidden picture puzzle books. More than 2000 of her hidden pictures are published in over eighty newspapers, magazines and publications throughout the U.S. and Canada.
As a child, one of Liz's dreams was to illustrate a kid's book--instead, she majored in Tool and Die Engineering and helped design machines. Several years ago, Liz turned her love of freehand art into a full-time job and now spends her days drawing pictures with frogs, mice and other delightful characters. Her puzzles appeal to all ages--not just kids--and are recommended by doctors, teachers and parents to help improve spatial skills, eye coordination and concentration.
Liz is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and is a frequent speaker at schools, libraries and writers' conferences where she delights audiences with her sketches. When not drawing, Liz enjoys growing flowers, building lily ponds (with bullfrogs and fish), woodcarving and spending time with family. She and her husband have two grown children and live near Tipp City, Ohio. Her studio is a vine-covered cottage where a big dog and one fluffy cat keep her company while she hides those hidden objects.
